Rena Sofer

Rena Sherel, born December 2nd 1968 is an American actress. She is most well-known for her work on the daytime network, as well as episodic guest appearances as well as made-for-television film. Sofer won an Daytime Emmy Award 1995 for her performance in the role of Lois Cerullo of the soap show General Hospital. She played Quinn Fuller in the CBS soap opera The Bold and the Beautiful from 2013 to 2022.





 Early life



 Sofer was born in Arcadia (California), the daughter of Susan Sofer (nee Franzblau), who works as a psychologist and Martin Sofer, who is a Orthodox Rabbi.





 Sofer moved with her brother David along with her father to Teaneck (New Jersey) in 1970. When Sofer was 5 years old, she was living in Western Pennsylvania. They were brought up in Ambridge, Pennsylvania by their father, Beth Samuels Jewish Center. She was a student at the Frisch School, a coeducational Modern Orthodox Jewish highschool in Paramus (New Jersey). Sofer was raised in North Bergen where her father was the synagogue rabbi Temple Beth El. She graduated from North Bergen High School, after which she attended classes at Montclair State College.





 Career



 Television during the daytime



 Lois Marie Cerullo was the first Lois Marie Cerullo that Sofer was a part of on General Hospital. In 1993, she worked as a band manager. The first time she was seen was in the role of Rocky McKenzie in the 1988-91 daytime soap opera Loving.
