Gugulethu-SofiaMbatha also referred to as Gugu Mbatha Raw is an actress from the UK who earned notoriety for her part in the television show 'Doctor Who.' This British TV science-fiction series was broadcast by the BBC. Gugu became famous for playing Tish Jones on the BBC series. She played the role of the sister to a main character known as Martha Jones. The audience loved her cheerful energy and spontaneity, and there was no turning back for Gugu to have a promising career in acting! Gugu has also appeared in various British productions on stage and TV. She has received critical acclaim for her roles in British period dramas such as 'Belle' (2013) and 'Beyond the Lights' (2014). In addition to starring in American movies like Tom Hankscomedy "Larry Crowne" as well, she was a regular on television shows such as "Undercover" and Touch'. Chelsea Joy Handler, born 25 February 1975 in Livingston New Jersey, is the youngest of six children. Her family comprised six people including Chelsea Joy Handler as the youngest. Her father was a used automobile dealer and her mother was a housewife. Her mother arrived in America in 1958 as an immigrant from Germany. After 10 years of fight against breast cancer, she passed away in the year 1989. Handler's father was Jewish, and she was educated in Reform Judaism. Handler was blessed with a joyful and healthy living in a posh community. She was just 19 when she made the decision to relocate to Los Angeles and pursue acting. Handler employed as an actor to earn a living for herself. Handler began performing stand-up as a full-time comedian when she reached the age of 21. Handler had realized that she has a knack for telling stories. Beginning Of career Handler started out her career as a member of the Oxygen network all-female cast for an undiscovered camera/real-life joke television series Girls Behaving Poorly. It ran from 2002 to2005. The handler started appearing on other shows including Weekends at D.L., The Bernie Mac Show, The Practice and My Wife and Kids. Handler started her career as a correspondent for The Tonight Show. Handler achieved her first big break in 2006 hosting her own E! show. Named The Chelsea Handler show. The show lasted for two seasons. The following year, Handler performed on the Comedy Central's Hour Stand-Up Comedy Tour in the United States. VH1, Comedy Central Premium Blend, HBO and Comedy Central have all broadcasted her stand-up shows. In 2010, it was revealed that she was going to be hosting at the MTV Video Music Awards in 2010.
