Allyson Felix
Allyson Michael Felix was the Los Angeles native born on the 18th of November, 1985. Paul Felix, the father of Allyson Michelle Felix, is a minister who was ordained by Master's Seminary Sun Valley. Marlean Felix works as a elementary school teacher at Balboa Magnet. Felix's talent for athletics was evident right from the day she was enrolled at Los Angeles Baptist High School. A mere 10 weeks after the initial trial she took her skills, she placed second for 200m at the U.S. Indoor Track and Field Championship. Felix was a high school graduate when she graduated from school in 2003, signed an agreement with Adidas. After that, she attended the University of Southern California and studied elementary education. Felix was awarded her first Olympic gold medal during the Athens Summer Olympics 2004. Felix broke a junior-world record running 200 meters for 22.18. In 2005, the Helsinki World Championships saw her becoming the youngest female to win the 200 meter race. She defended this title and beat her Jamaican opponent Veronica Campbell. Felix always placed in the top third in each of her events in Beijing London Rio de Janeiro Tokyo.
