Allyson Felix

Allyson Nicole Felix was born on the 18th of November the 18th of November, 1985, in Los Angeles. Paul Felix served as an ordinand within Sun Valley at Master's Seminary. Marlean Felix taught at Balboa Magnet. Felix showed a flair for athletics early on discovering her athletic abilities when she attended the Los Angeles Baptist High School. In only 10 weeks following her first attempt, Felix placed 2nd in the 200-meter race in the U.S. Indoor Track and Field Championship. Felix finished her high school education and was signed to a pro-contract for Adidas. In 2004 she enrolled in the University of Southern California, which is where she studied elementary education. Felix was awarded her first Olympic Medal at the 2004 Summer Olympics that took place at Athens Greece. She set an Junior World Record taking 200m in 22.18 second. In 2005, she became the youngest world champion of 200 meters during the Helsinki World Championships. She defended this title in 2007, defeating her longtime Jamaican rival Veronica Campbell. Felix had a steady performance in Beijing, London Rio de Janeiro, and Tokyo. She was consistently within the top three places of all events.
